Halloween

Image
Hi everyone! I am the type of person to look ahead and dream big by making random plans for the future. I always get so excited for future trips, concerts, and holidays. So today I figured, why not write about Halloween? I have always looked forward to Halloween! Growing up, my brother and I had the best costumes and we would go trick or treating in three different neighborhoods just so we could get the best candy. Before you ask, yes, we were those kids that took the entire bowl when there was a special note that said, “Please only take one!”. Sorry not sorry, we had a blast each year. As we got older, we stopped trick or treating and started partying, (yay?). No more random neighborhood candy, no more stealing, and no more funny costumes. Now that we are older, we have to dress more our age in a way? Most girls dress really cute for halloween but honestly I have never done that and probably won’t for awhile. I have a large personality and if I only get one day a year to be some...

Charlie Kirk

Hi everyone! As all of you know Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th at a college in Utah. It has been a week now and I figured I would blog about this. I don’t side with either republican or democrat, I kind of stay in the middle. I am not specifically going to talk about the assassination but what Charlie Kirk did and why he was such an inspiration. He would go around to different college campuses to debate students who came forward with a question. Charlie is a republican man but is open to hearing everyone’s opinions and having a conversation to hear them out. My question to you guys is, do you think having political events at college campuses is beneficial or needed? I would have to say yes. I think that all college students should be well educated on politics because we are the newest generation of voters, we are becoming adults and need to know what is going on. I also really like that Charlie Kirk debated students because this allows the student to properly lea...

I'm just a gullible girl

Hi everyone! I’ve been talking about being stressed out and trying to live my life more freely by having good balance. It has been working, but I have had some bumps in the road. Obviously, nothing is ever perfect or can go the right way all the time. But something that I didn’t expect to come up changed my stress free life, let me talk to you a little but about how I got scammed.   To start this story off, I heard about mypersonalityquiz.com from the wonderful, Aggie. I was so intrigued that I took the quiz immediately and suddenly realized that I had to pay $1.99. I was totally fine with it because you know, $1.99 isn’t too much money and I was super excited to see if I was a thinker or a feeler. I double clicked with Apple Pay and my results wouldn’t show up, so I kept double clicking to pay because I thought it wasn’t working. I don’t know the exact number of clicks I did but each time, it paid! I was so mad in the moment, not because I paid like $6 but because I still ...

Learning how to balance my life

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! I wanted to share my thoughts on how I have been trying to balance everything going on. I am a person that constantly procrastinates things and I've always tried to work on that area of my life because it brings me a lot of stress. Sometimes procrastinating certain things is fine for me because I know that I will get it done no matter how much time I have left before it is due. There are other times where I think everything is out of my control. It's hard to have a set routine and try to balance all aspects of your life. Being back here at school has been so fun and I've already made tons of memories, but I have been extremely busy. I have been trying to balance volleyball, classes, and a social life. I just feel like I haven't really had any time to just have a moment with myself and be calm. I feel like I am always on the go, I finish one thing and now I'm doing the next. I know that I should be getting my priorities straighte...
