Christmas

 Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. This week I wanted to keep my blog interesting and fun so I thought why not keep the holiday’s going and write about Christmas. I am a huge fan of Christmas. I love the weather, especially when it snows, and I LOVE the music. But more importantly, I love getting together with my family. We don’t travel far during the holidays because we all live within 30 minutes from each other which is very nice. Every year we do Christmas Eve Eve at my Mimi’s, Christmas Eve at my Papaw’s, and we do Christmas Day at my Aunts house. An interesting thing we do at my Mimi’s is travel down the road to the local Walmart and get all of the supplies we need to make a ton of different Christmas cookies. My favorite sweet treat to make is puppy chow or the 7 layer bars. Every year at my Papaw’s we do a secret santa gift exchange. One year my Papaw received cheetah print underwear, let's just say he wasn’t too happy but everyone else was. On Christmas Day at my Aunt’s, we do a karaoke contest and whoever wins the best performance they get the huge gift basket. 

    I have already started going strong on my Christmas list for my parents and my Papaw. I know Christmas isn’t about the gifts but my family always blesses me and treats me way too well. I never know what to ask for so I always watch Christmas Hauls on Youtube to try and get ideas. The one thing I really want is to go to NYC with my Mom over Christmas break. I have never been to New York and I really want to see it during the holidays. Have you guys ever been to NYC? What is one thing you are asking for this Christmas? See ya’ll next week, bye!

    I've never been to NYC but I've always wanted to go. Glad to see someone else embodying the Christmas spirit so early in the year! I'm hoping to get a new Keurig for Christmas, the one I have right now is beginning to age rapidly lol.

  Hey guys, welcome back to my blog. My favorite season of the year is finally coming up, wrestling season! My brother has wrestled for many years, and he is going to be a senior at Otterbein University. Growing up with an older brother has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Thanksgiving Break

  Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. I hope everyone had a great break. Thanksgiving break this year was one of those weeks that somehow felt both relaxing and eventful at the same time. I did so many things over break so that is what I wanted to share. I got home on Friday after my morning classes and took a long nap. I didn’t do anything on my first weekend home except for chilling in my bedroom with my parents and my dog. So here is a little timeline of everything I did once the weekend was over. Tuesday: DWTS Finale Night My week kicked off on Tuesday with the Dancing With the Stars finale. I was fully locked in and rooting hard for Alix Earle to win. Every performance she did this season was such a surprise, and honestly, I loved watching her confidence grow. Even though the finale didn’t go the way I hoped, it was still so much fun to watch. Hello, welcome back to my blog! This semester has been incredibly busy, as many of you know from my previous posts. Even with all the chaos, it’s been one of the most rewarding semesters yet. Full of growth, challenges, and memories that I’ll carry with me forever. As we head into the OAC Tournament this week, I’ve been reflecting on this year’s volleyball season. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since August. With half of the team being freshmen and a few transfers joining, including myself, we started out as a brand new group still figuring out who we were. Throughout the season, we faced our fair share of ups and downs, moments where we struggled to find our why, our energy spark, and that deep desire to compete for one another.  We had countless team talks and exercises to help us get back on track.
